From Death Row to Best of Show
Buster is a 1-year-old red tabby with white, adorable male cat. He came to us from an impound facility where he was unclaimed and scheduled to be put to sleep. Last Hope was called in to take him before the evil deed was done. We gladly got him out of there and after a short visit at the Vet; he went to live with foster mom Sandi. Buster then went to a home with a couple that thought he was adorable and had a great personality. Sadly, they came to discover that they were not really cat people and poor Buster was back at the Vet’s office again. Foster mom Sandi was full so foster mom Charlie took him home and soon came to appreciate his wonderful demeanor and handsome looks. Charlie was contacted by “No Dogs Allowed” CFA cat club to invite Last Hope to be represented at their cat show and said we could enter three Last Hope cats into their household pet category. Buster along with 2 other cuties, Freeway and Jack, were quickly entered. We had fun at our booth at the cat show, and showing off our wonderful kitties. There were 6 rings in which the household cats were judged in and Buster did wonderful in all six rings. SO WONDERFUL, that he ended up with more total points than all the other household cats that were entered. At the end of the show, Buster was selected as the BEST OF THE BEST for the Household pet category and added one more great big beautiful ribbon to his collection, showing the whole world that he was NOT a disposable cat, he is a WINNER!!!!!! Buster now has a forever home and his winner ribbons went with him so he can show them off to everyone. Charlie Fenick
