Last Hope Spay Neuter Policy

Over population* is a critical issue:

In seven years, one female cat and her offspring can theoretically produce 420,000 cats.

In six years, one female dog and her offspring can theoretically produce 67,000 dogs

6-8 Million dogs and cats enter shelters each year

3-4 Million are euthanized

It is important to Last Hope that your young kitten or puppy is spayed or neutered on time. Last Hope recommends that you spay/neuter your pet between five and six months old. For more about spaying and neutering: myths and facts, medical information and more click here.
