No one will steal them from your yard like Yellow labs and Golden Retriever
They come a variety of sizes from medium, large and extra large with short or long coats.
If they are arrested for doing something wrong, they are hard to spot in a line up since they are more common.
They can make you feel safe because they bark while wagging their tails.
They are great with most children.
They are easy to housebreak and can hold it all day long.
They don’t mind being tripped on at night.
They usually have black roofs of their mouth and per an old wife’s tale that they are smarter!
They usually like playing ball, like to go swimming and being pet.
Big black dogs are never picked over!
If a big black dog is in a rescue, you know it is worth saving!
