Poor Zeva

Zeva got hit by car and came to us with lots of injuries.
She had internal bleeding, a badly bruised back leg and the other back leg was dragging behind her.
When she arrived at our vet, she had no feeling in that back leg and she was in extreme pain. Surgeries could not be performed until her bleeding stopped. The vet put her her own privacy suite and gave her pain patches to administer pain meds thru the skin. She was scared and could hardly walk.
She held her urine waiting for her potty breaks. You can see her in the pic with the blue towel around her helping her walk.
Tuesday, Oct 15, she had her leg amputated. It could not be saved. Even if they tried to fix it, she would not have any feeling in it and would not be able to use it.
You can see her in her pic a couple days after her surgery without that back leg.
Now she has to spend time in her foster home gaining strength and healing from her trauma. She will need a home with a fenced in yard. She cannot afford to lose another limb!
On November 1st. Zeva went to her forever home! Thanks to all who generously donated to give her a second chance!
