Yoshimi

Hi, there! My name is Yoshimi. I used to be called "Cinnamon" until my new family adopted me from you! I wanted to thank you for rescuing me and for taking care of me, and also for being very careful when choosing my new family!

I've been in my new home for almost four weeks now, and I am very happy! there's lots of new rules here, and I get to play with my big brother DesCartes (he used to be called "Hawkeye!"), and I have all my shots, my rabies tag and licence, and a microchip so that I'll never get lost! I have had all sorts of new adventures, mommy signed me up for daycare at Dog Day Getaway and I am very well-behaved there and welcome to come back anytime. I go to the dog park about four times a week to get used to lots of dogs, and I hardly ever bark anymore! I still have lots to say and make lots of funny sounds, but I don't hurt mommy and daddy's ears any more.

Speaking of ears, see?? My ears are standing up straight! At least sometimes. I usually have one ear up and one flopped over, I think it is my puppy-style, but I think as I grow, my ears will get firmer.

People tell me that I'm cute everywhere I go. Daddy has to remind people that my rules are, no jumping, no biting, no barking! I'm going to be pretty big when I grow up, so those things won't be really cute for very long.

I had my third puppy class at Petsmart last Sunday, and I am doing very well. I know focus (look at me), sit, lie down, shake, and leave-it and take-it. I was 39 pounds on Sunday. My new vet thinks I'll grow to be 70-80 pounds, but we'll see!

Thank you again! I'll send you more pictures when I get some good ones with my whole family!

Love,
--Yoshimi
